The Faithful Toad
This was a four-person group project that I have completed during the 2nd year of my studies. For this project, we were to choose a mythical story from any culture and turn it into a limited animation short film and learn the use of After Effects for limited animation. We chose a Korean folklore that tells the story of a girl and her beloved toad friend that she rescued on a stormy winter night, but has a sad twist in the end.
In this project, I was in charge of the design of the monster as well as storyboarding and animating parts that had the monster in it.

All shots with the centipede in, I was in charge of the backgrounds and animating the whole fighting sequence. The backgrounds I did were mostly forests.
